USAGE OF ANTIMONY TRIOXIDE
A white odorless powder, antimony trioxide is mainly used as flame retardant for Plastics as well as well as polymer catalyst for polyester and purifying agent for removing bubbles in glass manufacturing process.
Depending on the types of plastics, antimony trioxide for flame retardant application is admixed in an appropriate ratio with halogen series flame retardant to enhance Its flame retardant.
If the color of antimony trioxide is improver to white and its particle size is smaller, The quality is regarded as superior.
Whiteness of the material improves its added value by allowing fresher appearance of the color.
The smaller the particle size, the stronger the flame retardant ability because its flame retardant surface expands.
